In the Parisian hotel landscape, palace and 5-star hôtel embody the pinnacle of refinement, comfort and French art de vivre. But among these icons of luxury, one name is increasingly establishing itself as a bold, sensory new landmark: Madame Rêve. More than a palace, this five-star hotel located in the heart of Paris, within the historic precincts of the Poste du Louvre, redefines the codes of high-end hospitality.
5-star hotel in Paris : The luxurious, lively experience of the Madame Rêve hotel
A 5-star hotel in the heart of Paris, between sky and city
Madame Rêve doesn’t just have a prestigious address: it makes a manifesto of it. Located in the 1st arrondissement, a stone’s throw from the Louvre and Rue Saint-Honoré, the establishment radiates 7,000 sq. m. of refined, luminous space. With 83 rooms, suites and penthouses, more than half of which have private terraces or balconies, the hotel offers guests a poetic immersion in the rooftops of Paris, with views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame or the church of Saint-Eustache.
Behind its 19th-century stone façade, a small, discreet door opens onto a world designed down to the finest detail by Laurent Taïeb, a leading figure on the Parisian scene. A visionary, he is the sole artistic director of this extraordinary project, inspired by French know-how and contemporary art.
A new-generation 5-star hotel, lively and inspiring
What sets Madame Rêve apart from its peers is its resolutely contemporary philosophy of luxury: inclusive, sensory, respectful of the environment and open to the city. Far from the “entre-soi” sometimes associated with palaces, the atmosphere here is warm, accessible and lively. You can have a coffee, work, dine, relax or marvel, depending on your mood, your mood or your moment in life.
The interior architecture blends noble materials (wood, velvet, marble) with a modernist aesthetic: the rooms are clad in walnut, the floors in oak, the custom-made zellige mosaics, and the thick curtains evoke a warm cocoon. The furnishings, designed for the location, evoke the great signatures of French design, with particular attention paid to comfort, light and acoustics.
Two exceptional restaurants for an immersive gastronomic experience
A 5-star hotel in Paris must offer a memorable culinary experience. Madame Rêve takes up this challenge with two complementary addresses.
- Kitchen, located on the first floor, spans 300 m² with 8-meter ceilings, in the ambiance of a grand Parisian café of yesteryear. The décor pays homage to the decorative arts of the Belle Époque: majestic chandeliers by Mathieu Lustrerie, deep-toned velvets by Pierre Frey, gilded marble and furniture custom-designed by Maison Henryot (since 1867). The menu is French, gourmet and modern, with non-stop service from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- La Plume, on the top floor, is a 300 m² panoramic restaurant overlooking a suspended garden. The cuisine, with influences from near and far, is orchestrated by chef Benjamin Six (Zuma London, Zuma Dubai). The place is bathed in light, open to the Parisian sky and decorated with precious materials: Calacatta Oro marble, Edelman leathers, noble woods. With a spectacular view over Paris, the culinary experience becomes a suspended moment, between tradition and innovation.
Rooftop, spa and well-being at the top of Paris
On the rooftops of the building, Madame Rêve unveils ROOF, a 1,000 m² planted rooftop. Accessible to hotel guests during the day, it opens to the public from 4pm. With seating for 250 and a garden planted with cherry trees, it’s a veritable urban Eden, ideal for enjoying a cocktail overlooking the Eiffel Tower or contemplating the sunset.
The wellness area features an intimate 150 m² spa with two treatment rooms, a glass-enclosed sauna and a fully-equipped fitness room. Treatments are provided in collaboration with the KOS brand, in a spirit of rejuvenation and elegance.
An ethical and artistic commitment
Madame Rêve is also a 5-star hotel that speaks to the senses and the intellect. The hotel incorporates a strong artistic dimension, with works by Olivier Masmonteil, Inès Longevial, María José Benvenuto and Jacques Villeglé. More than 800 works of mail art are displayed in the rooms, paying tribute to the building’s history and its spirit of cultural openness.
Committed to an eco-responsible approach, the hotel complies with BREEAM, HQE and Effinergie standards. It produces 50% of its hot water using solar panels, limits the number of bathtubs, and prioritizes thermal and acoustic insulation for lasting comfort.
